It’s important to find a photographer whose images you love, of course! But another HUGE element to choosing your photographer is making sure you're going to feel comfortable with them. My hope is that when you come to my site, you can easily see yourself as one of my clients. We don't have to agree on The Office vs Parks and Rec debate, but I do hope something here resonates with you. When you hire me as your anniversary photographer, you're not just getting a collection of photos. You’re getting my 14 years of practicing photography, my artistic vision, my calming personality and happy attitude, my love for and belief in marriage, my editing time, and an overall wonderful experience that adds to the beauty of your session! When you look back at your images, you won’t just see what happened there, but you’ll FEEL the emotions all over again. 

My sessions usually last one hour, but if we decide on a location with a bit of a hike, this time can extend up to 2 hours. This won't mean we are shooting for 2 hours straight, because that is tiring for everyone! But we will most likely shoot and chat along the way!

This is a great question! I will send an email to you with more in-depth outfit advice, but for now just know this:
For ladies: Long dresses + skirts photograph better than short, and we have less to worry about (if you know what I mean)
For guys: Button-ups look best, and I ask that you don't wear t-shirts with graphics or text on them
If you want, you can even bring two outfits to wear, one dressy and one more casual

I love shooting at sunrise or 1-2 hours before sunset. However, I know this isn't always possible and I'm well-equipped to make ANY time of day look dang good. I also save Saturdays for weddings and Sundays for family. You can check with me on my Saturday availability, but weekday evenings are more often free than Saturdays!

We can also schedule a time to chat on the phone and go over any remaining questions you might have, or just to make sure we will be a good fit!

 I love delivering my client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery.  You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. You can expect 50+ images in your gallery. 

I'm gonna make you get close to each other. I'm gonna have you do things you might not normally do. It might feel silly, but it definitely will be fun. It will be romantic. And it will look beautiful and real in your photos.

I believe anniversary sessions are a time for you two to reconnect, rekindle, and remember. So come feeling mushy, and leave with dinner reservations to follow. Make this session MORE than just a session. Make it a date. Make it a memory.

Because I incorporate film into my sessions, I shoot and edit with a clean, true-to-life color in mind. Bright & colorful, I love to also incorporate the sun, wind, natural elements, and all the details that make up your interactions with each other.
